Las campañas de seguridad vial

Abstract

Road safety, a subject of great significance at present, since accidents which result in tragic consequences are continuously occurring, that can range from mild injuries as serious, or even death. In this work, we conducted a study on the awareness-raising campaigns in the media of communication in the field of road safety. These are intended to avoid that to reach an accident, that is, to minimize the probability of a collision occurring, to do this they use methods of awareness-raising and information directed especially to users of these roads, and especially to the most vulnerable, either because of their age, by the type of vehicle that are circulating and which may be more or less vulnerable from the danger that suppose the road, or any other possible reason that we will see more deeply. Statistics obtained by the General Directorate of Traffic and the National Institute of Statistics shows that accidents have multiple causes. We have observed that the most important and most mortality leads is the consumption of alcohol; although the campaigns address all causes and factors that lead to an accident, and which therefore are the behaviors that you want to avoid that they occur or you want to correct. Finally, after studying some research on this field, we have found that preventive measures are effective. Currently, there are other means of prevention, how are the measures taken by the agents on the road, the campaigns are evolving and adapting to circumstances that now cause more accidents. As for the future, expected that within a few years they are autonomous vehicles by automatic pilot, in which human intervention is minimal. What the investigations that are underway are going in this direction, in preventing the causes of accidents and apply new technologies to the circulation.
