El patio como recurso educativo

Abstract

A lo largo de este trabajo conoceremos la importancia de otorgar a los espacios que utilizamos en el día a día, un carácter educativo, concretamente el patio escolar. Reconoceremos el espacio como recurso pedagógico, fundamentado en la Pedagogía de la Educación Infantil; analizando la concepción de este término desde la perspectiva de varios autores. Por lo tanto, se muestra los principales factores que condicionan los espacios escolares y las necesidades que debemos respetar de nuestro alumnado a la hora de crear los mismos. Además presento unas propuestas pedagógicas para llevar a cabo en el patio escolar: un rincón dedicado a la lectura, otro dedicado a la creatividad y arte del alumnado y otro dedicado a la naturaleza. Por otra parte también le daremos importancia al papel del profesorado durante el patio escolar y haré una crítica al respecto, analizando la actitud de estos y a raíz de esto, hacer una propuesta de mejora con una finalidad educativa y siempre favoreciendo el desarrollo íntegro del alumnado porque favorece la posibilidad de otorgar calidad a nuestra práctica educativa, ya que los espacios condicionan, favorecen o dificultan el desarrollo y aprendizaje de los niños y niñas que hacen uso de este espacio.
