Los estilos de enseñanza: “Mitos y leyendas”

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the Teaching Styles in Physical Education and test its usefulness during the sessions. To analyze and classify Teaching Styles is necessary to reflect on the concept of Teaching Style itself, and to start to investigate from clear and defined concepts. On the one hand, it has carried out an analysis of Teaching Styles traditionally known as opposites, proving empirically the possibility of using a pure style of teaching during Physical Education sessions. To do this, we used the Command Style, Self-Check Style and Guided Discovery Style. All this has been done and related knowing the current legislative framework (LOMCE). This study has sought to raise awareness of the importance of learning about Teaching Styles and their application in Physical Education classes. It has also attempted to open new frontiers aimed at exploring innovative educational trends that combine effective teaching methods, employing Teaching Styles involving the students, promoting autonomy, engaging the relevant legislation, and that ultimately is fit the student's learning style. One of the streams of educational innovation is Physical Activity and Health.
