Se facilitan las claves de las dinámicas de la innovación tecnológica y de expansión del gasto sanitario para poder reaccionar, de forma creíble, ante la crisis en España sin dualizar la sociedad entre quienes pueden pagar y quienes no. Se detallan las reformas sanitarias que permitirán mejorar la productividad y consolidar el Estado de bienestar, con referencias incluidas al RD 16/2012 y a los experimentos «a prueba de fallos» de los partenariados público-privados. En las reformas sanitarias tienen importancia equivalente el qué y el cómo, la racionalidad técnica y la legitimidad social.
The clues for understanding the dynamics of technological innovation and expansion of health care spending are given. Crisis in Spain requires a credible reaction avoiding the chasm between those who can pay and those who cannot.
