Abstract

A pesar de los beneficios de las NIIF en la Unión Europea, sus principiosestablecidos están sujetos a riesgos de manipulación por parte de la dirección de las empresas, como en la NIC 36 sobrela pérdida de valor por deterioro de los activos. En concreto la norma es flexible en los modelos de valoración ysushipotesis subjetivas cuando los procedimientos de Impairment Test se desarrollan internamente y mediante el valor de uso.Nuestrapropuesta de reforma consisteen la externalización obligatoria de losImpairment Test y la utilización del modelo de valoración basado en el EVA con un caso práctico en el Grupo Ebro Foodscomo testeo. Estapropuesta permite transformar un procedimiento rutinario en una oportunidad de obtener más información para la toma dedecisiones sobre lageneración de valor de los activos empresariales. Finalmente, entrevistamos a 2expertos externos para saber la opinión del mundo profesional.
