Abstract

La indústria ramadera, pel que fa al funcionament de la seva activitat principal i cadena de producció, fa un ús excessiu dels recursos naturals com boscos i agua, alhora que és un dels principals motors de l’agreujament progressiu del canvi climàtic. Per aquest motiu, el present treball està dedicat a l’estudi de la contaminació de la indústria càrnica, motivadora de l’increment de la pol·lució de l’aire i l’aigua, del maltractament animal i dels perjudicis col·laterals en civils i treballadors del sector, en base als Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible de l’ONU. Aquest treball pretén fer una crítica als principals problemes originats per la ramaderia industrial, amb l’objectiu d’unificar-los i donar a conèixer que els éssers humans podem prescindir totalment d’ella, ja que la seva eliminació suposaria una millora per al medi ambient, actualment en crisi global, la salvació per als animals, i un canvi positiu a la cultura de les persones consumidores.
