Estratègies epistèmiques i evidencials en el discurs educatiu del Banc Mundial: canvis i continuïtats en la transició cap al 'banc del coneixement'

Abstract

Al llarg de les darreres dècades, el Banc Mundial ha esdevingut un actor clau en la definició de l’agenda educativa global. Aquesta centralitat s’ha fet vist reforçada des de finals dels anys noranta, arran de l’adopció de l’etiqueta banc del coneixement per part de la pròpia institució, que captura així el seu nou rol com a disseminadora de bones pràctiques sostingudes per l’evidència científica. La present recerca pretén explorar la dimensió discursiva d’aquesta evolució, identificant els recursos i operacions de legitimació epistèmica mobilitzats per la institució. Amb aquest objectiu es duu a terme un estudi comparatiu de les expressions d’evidencialitat i epistemicitat contingudes en dos dels seus documents programàtics, corresponents a les etapes anterior i posterior a la conversió de l’organització en banc del coneixement. Els resultats reflecteixen un esforç retòric creixent orientat a reforçar la facticitat de les assercions reportades, a través de l’augment d’expressions indicadores de l’origen objectiu de les proposicions i l’èmfasi en l’elevada validesa d’aquestes.
