At first, a brief glance is given to classical Greek civilization and culture as suggested by the work "The Philosophy of Greek Culture: Contributions to the Study of Contemporary Greek Neo-Hellenic Thought", by Constance Marcondes César, due to the importance and originality as to how the contemporary Greek philosopher Evanghélos Moutsopolos is presented, especially regarding his concepts of Käiros and Kauricity. Fascination with classical Greek culture and what this represents in the thought of the Brazilian-Portuguese philosopher Agostinho da Silva, comprises the second part of this short essay.
