The objectives of the urban non-point source study are: 1. to assess present urban non-point source pollutant loads from the major population centres in the Grand River basin; 2. to estimate future loadings based on projections of populations (low, medium and high) for the years 2001 and 2031; and 3. to evaluate the present and future impact of pollutant loadings on water quality and uses in the Grand River and to identify remedial measures, if any, for implementation.
