Abstract

The chemical composition (depsides and depsidones) of samples of Mela-nelia acetabulum (Neck) Essl. ( = Parmelia acetabulum (Neck) Duby) recolected in five spanish localities and samples of Pseudevemia fuñuracea (L) Zopf recolected throughout an altitudinal transect of Spanish Sistema Central (Sierra de Guadarra-ma) are studied. The samples of Melanelia acetabulum were found to contain nors-tictic and connorstictic acids, but the presence of atranorin was not detectad in the samples recolected at the lberolevantines localities. In Pseudevemia fuñuracea is noticed that de only chemical strain present is that containing physodic and oxyphy-sodic acids.
