Los Servicios a Empresas Intensivos en Conocimiento (KIBS), son actividades que emplean mano de obra con altos niveles de calificación, con alta formación profesional y con capacidad para aplicar el conocimiento teórico. Esta condición permitiría suponer q ue en este segmento, el escenario laboral es mejor que en el resto del sector. A partir de datos de los Censos Económicos 2004 y 2014, del Instituto Nacional de Estadística, Geografía e Informática (INEGI), se busca identificar las condiciones laborales de los KIBS, en variables como empleo, condiciones de subcontratación, seguridad social, ingresos, entre otros, en un estudio que da peso al territorio, al dividir al país en cuatro regiones: Norte, Sur, Centro y Bajío. El estudio muestra que los KIBS no es capan a la inestabilidad laboral.

Knowledge Intensive Business Services (KIBS) are activities that employ highly qualified and professionally trained workforce with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge. This characteristic led us to hypothesize that the labor scenario is more favorable in KIBS than in the rest of the Services sector. Data from the National Institute of Statistics and Geography Eco nomic Censuses for 2004 and 2014 were the basis to identify the working conditions for KIBS, considering variables such as employment rate, subcontracting conditions, social security, income, among others. This study emphasized the role of the territory, b y dividing the Country into four regions: North, South, Center and Bajío. The study shows that KIBS don`t escape to bad working conditions.
