From all the triad of the practical sciences of antiquity - ethics, politics and economics – we can only find ethics and politics in the spectrum of the current practical philosophy. The "economic philosophy" hasn’t been established until now, neither as a topic nor as a discipline, as the political philosophy or the ethics of the original triad has. This communication aims to help define a philosophical approach to "domestic life" for its current restoration as a subject of philosophical reflection. For this, it is necessary to determine a methodology and dimensions that allow the Greek philosophical reflection about oîkos of Xenophon, Plato and Aristotle. Discover the relevance of an oikonomía can help us articulate this still undone reflection at present.
