Authors: Martínez García, María Luisa;

Abstract

The main aim of this study is to analyse the negative effects hidden behind maternity protection measures and compatibility measures of work, family and private life. It is specially studied to what extent they affect women participation (since they are the ones making use of these leaves) in accesing and remaining in the labour market, promotion and training in the company, and their impact in future benefits and pensions. Likewise, it is evaluated if positive actions accompanied by compatibility measures are positive or negative for women.
