Abstract

Introducción: El envejecimiento poblacional se configura como un fenómeno mundial y las tecnologías en salud constituyen una importante herramienta dirigida a esta población. El objetivo fue identificar en la literatura sobre el uso de las tecnologías blandas, blando-duras y duras en el cuidado de personas mayores. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio de revisión integradora de la literatura realizada en las bases dedatos Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE – Portal de la CAPES), Literatura Latinoamericana y Ciencias de la Salud del Caribe (Lilacs) y Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), a través de los descriptores: anciano, tecnología, servicios de salud y cuidado y sus correspondientes en inglés. Se incluyeron artículos completos, originales y publicados en enero de 2010 a octubre de 2015, en portugués, inglés y español, realizados con personas de 60 años o más. Resultados: Los estudios discutidos trabajan principalmente con tecnologías duras de cuidado con los ancianos, por la utilización de software y sensores de movimiento. En las tecnologías blando-duras fue observada la validación de folletos educativos y en las tecnologías blandas se trabajaron las temáticas de comunicación y el empoderamiento de las personas mayores en los servicios de salud. Conclusión: Se concluye que la aplicación y el desarrollo de tecnologías adaptadas a las necesidades de los ancianos es necesaria para establecer las condiciones adecuadas e innovadoras para la atención satisfactoria a este segmento de la población.

RESUMO Introdução: O envelhecimento populacional configura-se como um fenômeno mundial e as tecnologias em saúde constituem-se em uma importante ferramenta voltada a essa parcela da população. Objetivou- se identificar na literatura a utilização de tecnologias leves, leve-duras e duras no cuidado ao idoso. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de revisão integrativa de literatura realizado nas bases de dados Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE – Portal da CAPES), Literatura Latino Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (Lilacs) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), por meio dos descritores: idoso, tecnologia, serviços de saúde e cuidado e seus correspondentes em inglês. Incluíram-se artigos na íntegra, originais e publicados no período de janeiro de 2010 a outubro de 2015, nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol, realizados com pessoas de 60 anos ou mais. Resultados: Os estudos abordados trabalharam principalmente com tecnologias duras do cuidado ao idoso, a partir da utilização de softwares e sensores de movimento. Nas tecnologias leve-duras observou-se a validação de cartilhas educativas e nas tecnologias leves foram trabalhadas as temáticas de comunicação e emponderamento do idoso nos serviços de saúde. Conclusão: Concluiu-se que a implementação, bem como o desenvolvimento de tecnologias voltadas às necessidades dos idosos é mister para se estabelecer condições adequadas e inovadoras para um cuidado satisfatório desse segmento populacional.

ABSTRACT Introduction: Population aging is configured as a global phenomenon and health technologies constitute an important tool aimed at this population. The objective was to identify literature on the use of light technologies, light-hard and hard in elderly care. Methodology: This is a literature integrative review study conducted in the databases Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE - CAPES Portal), Literature Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences (Lilacs) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), through the descriptors: elderly technology, health services and care and their counterparts in English. Was included articles in full, original and published in January 2010 to October 2015, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, conducted with persons 60 years or older. Results: The study addressed worked mainly with hard technologies of care to the elderly, from the use of software and motion sensors. In the light-hard technologies we observed the validation of educationalbooklets and in light technologies were explored the themes of communication and empowerment of the elderly in health services. Conclusion: It was concluded that the implementation and the development of technologies geared to the needs of the elderly it is necessary to establish suitable and innovative conditions for satisfactory care of this population segment.
