El autor de este artículo aborda, en primer lugar, la cuestión de la diplomacia y la regulación de la guerra y la paz a partir de la obra principal de Saavedra Fajardo. En segundo lugar examina los principios del derecho de gentes moderno tal como aparecen en la obra del escritor barroco.
The author in this article tackles firstly the question of diplomacy and regulation of war and peace with Saavedra Fajardo's main work as his starting point. Secondly, he examines the principle of modern Ius gentium as it appears in the work of the baroque author.
