Abstract

Los hidrocarburos spiro son aquellos que contienen un átomo de carbono enlazando a dos anillos, iguales o distintos, perteneciendo en consecuencia a cada uno de ellos. El átomo de carbono enlazando a dos anillos, iguales o distintos, perteneciendo en consecuencia a cada uno de ellos. El átomo común se llama «átomo spiro» y la unión correspondiente «unión spiro». Según el número de átomos spiro presentes estos hidrocarburos se clasifican en: Monospiro, dispiro, trispiro, etc., según contengan uno. dos, tres, etc.. de esos átomos, siendo el número de ciclos en estos casos, dos, tres, cuatro etc. La LU.P.A.C. emplea dos métodos para numerar y nombrar este tipo de compuestos, los cuales vienen dados por las reglas A-41 y A-42. respectivamente. Las numeraciones en cada uno de ellos pueden colocarse en los vértices de las estructuras ya interior o exteriormente. En este Trabajo se han colocado exteriormente cuando las mismas se numeraban según el primer método, e interiormente cuando en las mismas condiciones se hacían por el segundo método. En muchas figuras y al objeto de hacer las menos repeticiones posibles de dibujos, se dan las dos numeraciones, es obvio en estos casos que las exteriores se utilizan de acuerdo con la regla A-41 y las interiores en consonancia con la regla A-42.
