Informática y necesidades educativas especiales

Abstract

Este artículo presenta algunas de las posibilidades del uso de Ja informática para per· sonas con Necesidades Educativas Especiales. El ordenador puede convertirse en un instrumento de comunicación, una herramienta de evaluación, un instrumento educativo o un elemento facilitador del ocio y actividades lúdicas para personas con deficiencias, discapacidades y minusvalías. Se especifican las barreras de acceso más frecuentes y sus posibles soluciones haciendo referencia a los dispositivos de uso más común en la supera· ción de las mismas. Finalmente se indican algunos de los aspectos a tener en cuenta en el diseño y programación de situaciones de aprendizaje en las que se haga uso de programas en soporte informático.

Abstract: This paper shows sornes possibilities of using computers for handicaped people. Computers can be an useful instrument for com· munication, evaluation, educational purposes or making easier free time and ludie activities for handicaped people. More frecuent problems for user and its solutions are showed. Finally we refer sorne features about desing and programation of educative situations with computers.
