Evaluación de los estilos de aprendizaje en estudiantes de enfermería mediante el cuestionario Chaea

Abstract

El objetivo de este estudio fue la identificación de las preferencias personales del estilo de aprendizaje de estudiantes de Enfermería. El estilo de aprendizaje es uno de los instrumentos con que cuenta el estudiante para hacer realidad un aprendizaje efectivo. Su conocimiento resulta de especial interés para el docente pues permite adecuar sus estrategias de enseñanza para hacer ésta más eficaz y eficiente. El Cuestionario Honey-Alonso de Estilos de Aprendizaje (CHAEA), baremado para la población española de estudiantes de Enfermería, mide cuatro orientaciones de aprendizaje: activo, reflexivo, teórico y pragmático. El cuestionario se administró a una muestra de 102 estudiantes de una misma escuela. Los resultados obtenidos se asemejan a los presentados por los autores de la versión española del cuestionario, si bien se detecta una diferencia significativa en cuanto al estilo teórico (p < 0.000). De acuerdo a los hallazgos del estudio, se presentan las implicaciones docentes.
