Iconicidad y orden de los constituyentes sintácticos

Abstract

La arbitrariedad de los signos lingüísticos defendida por F. de Saussure ha sido aceptada durante largo tiempo por la generalidad de los lingüistas. A partir de los estudios de Pierce se ha tenido en consideración la naturaleza motivada de algunos signos. En este trabajo atendemos a la naturaleza motivada de algunas construcciones sintagmáticas del español, cuya configuración diagramática refleja, bien la configuración que los hecos presentan en el mundo, bien la configuración con que, según la perspectiva del emisor, son presentados al receptor. Las construcciones sintácticas están motivadas, en primer lugar, isomórficamente, pues a un cambio en el contenido le corresponde un cambio en las expresiones correspondientes. tratamos de analizar los desajustes sinonímicos u homonímicos con la intervención de los diacríticos pertinentes. Intentamos justificar el hecho de que, cuando dos conceptos se vinculan más estrechamente, las expresiones respectivas también se presentan más estrechamente relacionadas. Por otra parte, la distinta organización lineal de los constituyentes lingüísticos está motivada frecuentemente por la diferente disposición de los hechos en el mundo o en la perspectiva del emisor.
