Abstract

A partir del culto en los Altos que refleja la Biblia, se plantea la tradición de los mismos en el Éufrates sirio y se determinan una serie de lugares que bien podrían representar la continuidad con ese universo mental ancestral que se expresa en el mundo bíblico. Elementos comunes de esos Altos son los enterramientos, a veces aislados y otras veces en tomo a torres de reclusos o pequeñas iglesias.
