Se presentan los resultados de la actuación arqueológica desarrollada en el paraje de la Cueva Negra, que no ha dado ningún material de época romana para poder relacionarlo con los grafitos de la cueva, aunque sí se ha registrado una presencia abundante de lascas de sílex, lo que habla a favor de una ocupación prolongada desde la Prehistoria.
