Abstract

En este trabajo se analizan los aspectos fundamentales de la regulación del tiempo de trabajo en el Derecho de la Unión Europea. Sucesivamente son objeto de estudio el ámbito de aplicación, la noción de tiempo de trabajo, la duración máxima de la jornada de trabajo, los períodos mínimos de descanso, el trabajo nocturno, el trabajo a turnos y el ritmo de trabajo, y las vacaciones anuales. Sobre cada uno de estos puntos se examina el contenido de la de la Directiva 2003/88 y su aplicación judicial.
