Materiales curriculares y formación del profesorado

Abstract

Los materiales curriculares, como mediadores de la cultura, tendrían que ser un medio de apoyo auxiliar para el aprendizaje y no un fin en sí mismos, como así viene ocurriendo. Es necesario que la formación del profesorado potencie la reflexión sobre el uso de los materiales curriculares en situaciones educativas concretas, desvelando si estos usos son coherentes con los propósitos educativos que se persiguen y desarrollando estrategias que posibiliten usos más variados y más pedagógicos de los mismos: seleccionándolos, adaptándolos, elaborándolos y evaluándolos.
