The serious consequences on the educational process of problems within the school community (excessive time spent in managing the classroom, lack of communication, school absenteeism, teachers� uneasiness) call for an urgent intervention. The present article focuses on the study of the efficiency of a model of intervention aimed at improving the social climate among a group of students. The characteristics of the study, especially the limited sample allows us to simply state that the classroom atmosphere undergoes positive changes in certain aspects, but the results could not be confirmed by the inferential analysis. Nevertheless, interesting conclusions have been drawn from the study.
Las graves repercusiones que sobre el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje tienen los problemas de convivencia escolar (excesivo tiempo para controlar la disciplina en el aula, falta de comunicación, absentismo escolar, malestar entre el profesorado, etc.) reclaman una urgente intervención. El estudio se centra en la eficacia de un programa en la mejora del clima social en un grupo de alumnos/as. Las características del estudio, especialmente la reducida muestra utilizada, nos permite afirmar que aunque el clima de aula experimenta ciertos cambios positivos, esto no se confirma con el análisis inferencial. Aún así, el estudio permite mostrar conclusiones interesantes.
