Las concepciones de la enseñanza. Aportaciones para la formación del profesorado

Abstract

Las diferentes concepciones de la enseñanza tienen una incidencia directa en la calidad del aprendizaje. Desde 1990 hasta 2010 se ha producido un crecimiento exponencial en el número de investigaciones e investigadores que dedican su trabajo a crear un corpus de conocimientos y resultados relativos a las visiones de la enseñanza, pero que a la vez generan una gran cantidad de concepciones que no reciben ningún orden entre sí. Por ello, de la revisión de algunos de los estudios se desprende una serie de taxonomías que ayudan a catalogar jerárquicamente las concepciones en torno a las que se mueven los profesores sea cual sea el nivel educativo en el que enseñen. Independientemente del número de categorías propuestas su orientación se centra bien en el profesor o en el estudiante. Finalmente se presentan las características más relevantes de las concepciones que los profesores pueden desarrollar en su tarea docente.
