It is a brief introduction of Labra's personality in which he is introduced as a jurist, politician, publisher and man deeply connected to the krausistic and democratic spirit of his time. It is a study of his position on the main problems of Educational Politics in the Spain of the second half of the nineteenth century and beginning of the XX such. And revises Labra's ideas about Spain's national eduational reforms put forwards in parlament as a compulsory need of the parlamentarian and political system.
Se hace una breve presentación de la personalidad de Labra en la que se presenta como jurista, político, publicista, y hombre profundamente vinculado al espíritu democrático y krausista de la época. Se hace un estudio de la postura de Labra ente los principales problemas de política educativa de la España de la segunda mitad del S. XIX y principio del XX. Y se exponen los proyectos que Labra defiende en el Parlamento y fuera de él para llegar a una reforma de la educación nacional.
