Abstract

En la colección del Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia se conserva un lienzo anónimo representando a la Virgen del Rosario que, en el presente estudio, hemos podido identificar como obra indiscutible del pintor Pedro Camacho Felizes de Alisén (Lorca, 1644-1716). Su identificación no solo viene a aumentar el número de obras del artista, sino que resulta de especial interés por mostrar una clara influencia de los modelos de Alonso Cano; hecho que demuestra que el viaje del lorquino a Granada en 1692, por motivos aparentemente burocráticos, no fue desaprovechado.
