Avaliando manuais escolares com critérios

Abstract

A Lei n.º 47/2006, de 28 de Agosto, define um novo enquadramento legal do regime de avaliação, certificação e adopção dos manuais escolares do ensino básico e do ensino secundário. Estes importantes materiais curriculares são assumidos como instrumentos de apoio ao ensino e à aprendizagem que contribuem para o desenvolvimento das competências e das aprendizagens definidas no currículo nacional. Deste modo, especificamente sobre a sua avaliação, o diploma legal adianta diversos elementos que devem ser tidos em conta como critérios obrigatórios de apreciação. Nesta sessão prática, serão propostas a análise e a avaliação de alguns aspectos de manuais escolares actuais de Matemática do ensino básico, tendo por base um conjunto de critérios de qualidade distribuídos por três domínios principais: Científico-didáctico, Texto e ilustrações e Construção da cidadania.
