Redes sociais na aprendizagem

Abstract

A análise do impacto crescente das redes sociais no desenvolvimento dos processos de interacção, formação de grupos de interesse e partilha, bem como na sua utilização nos processo de educação e formação constitui o objecto do presente estudo, o qual incide numa amostra de alunos de uma instituição de ensino superior, através de uma investigação realizada por questionário. No âmbito deste estudo identificaram-se os principais motivos que levam os alunos a utilizarem as redes sociais, assim como as redes que utilizam com maior frequência, as actividades que desenvolvem e as principais potencialidades que reconhecem às redes sociais. Como motivações mais relevantes para a utilização das redes sociais destacam os contactos com amigos e o entretenimento. Os alunos do ensino superior reconhecem que as redes sociais têm grandes potencialidades em termos de usabilidade, contactos, recursos e discussão entre os vários intervenientes.
