Alvenaria estrutural em edifícios: revisão e caso de estudo

Abstract

Esta dissertação tem como objetivo fazer uma revisão a respeito do sistema construtivo em alvenaria estrutural, o intuito de apresentar os conceitos de conceção e projeto, os materiais constituintes e os critérios de dimensionamento contido na regulamentação europeia, para posteriormente aplicar a um estudo de caso. Em Portugal, o setor da construção é caracterizado pelo uso dominante do sistema construtivo em betão armado na construção habitacional, havendo pouco enquadramento para a alvenaria estrutural. No caso de construções de pequeno e médio porte, a configuração pode estar diretamente relacionada com a falta de conhecimento do sistema construtivo em alvenaria estrutural, devido a pouca formação e familiarização dos principais atores da construção, os arquitetos, engenheiros e construtores. Neste sentido este trabalho pretende também contribuir para contrariar essa situação.
