Perfil e segmentação de potenciais visitantes do Parque Natural Regional do Vale do Tua

Abstract

As Áreas Protegidas (AP) têm apresentado um forte impacto ao nível da atratividade turística e económica. Este estudo integra-se na elaboração de uma proposta de plano de marketing para o Parque Natural Regional do Vale do Tua (PNRVT). Os objetivos específicos são: conhecer as perceções e o perfil dos potenciais visitantes deste parque e conhecer os recursos, atividades e equipamentos por eles desejados. Os dados foram recolhidos através de inquérito por questionário, alcançando uma amostra de conveniência de 222 inquiridos. Para dar resposta aos objetivos do estudo, o tratamento dos dados incidiu numa análise descritiva exploratória univariada e multivariada. Dos resultados obtidos é possível concluir-se que o PNRVT apresenta, à data do estudo, um baixo nível de notoriedade onde 51,8% dos inquiridos nunca ouviu falar deste parque. Os inquiridos gostariam de encontrar no PNRVT alojamento e alimentação, atividades de observação e incursão na natureza e, ainda, viagens de barco e comboio turístico. A análise cluster hierárquica realizada sugere a existência de cinco perfis de visitantes.
