EGID3: conhecimentos prévios de estudantes sobre conceitos geométricos

Abstract

Para dar (mais) significado ao que aprendem, os alunos necessitam mobilizar e reestruturar os seus conhecimentos prévios no sentido de desenvolver novas e melhores compreensões dos conceitos a abordar. A valorização desses saberes permite também ao professor prever e seguir estratégias de ensino adequadas a esses conhecimentos. Integrado no projeto “EGID3: ensino da Geometria, investindo no diagnóstico, dificuldades e desafios” foi aplicado, no início da unidade curricular de Geometria, da Licenciatura em Educação Básica, um questionário com questões de natureza aberta, envolvendo conceitos geométricos que os estudantes trabalharam na sua educação não superior. Nesta comunicação pretendemos apresentar e discutir os conhecimentos prévios revelados pelos futuros educadores e professores sobre os conceitos de figura geométrica, polígono, ângulo e retângulo.
