A experiência turística dos praticantes de percursos pedestres

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar a experiência turística dos praticantes de percursos pedestres da empresa Naturthoughts, localizada na cidade de Mirandela. Assim, adotou-se uma metodologia quantitativa com aplicação de um inquérito por questionário via on-line, aos clientes da Naturthoughts, de julho a agosto de 2017 e obtiveram-se 172 questionários válidos para o estudo. Aplicaram-se duas técnicas de análise de dados – uma análise descritiva exploratória e uma análise fatorial exploratória. Concluiu-se que o ‘ambiente agradável do percurso’ e o ‘ambiente atrativo do percurso’ são os fatores mais valorizados pelos praticantes. Dos serviços prestados pela empresa, o ’profissionalismo dos técnicos’, a ‘relação técnico-praticante’ e a ‘segurança na prática do percurso’ registaram os níveis de satisfação mais elevados. Dos resultados da análise fatorial identificaram-se quatro fatores: Fator I – Ambiente e segurança; Fator II – Acessibilidade; Fator III – Conforto; Fator IV – Viabilidade e proximidade. A experiência do praticante de percursos pedestres da Naturthoughts foi positiva, com intenções de recomendar e de praticar outros percursos alternativos, nomeadamente, percursos noturnos.
