Modelação numérica do comportamento de uma estrutura metálica sujeita à acção do fogo: análise de vários cenários de incêndio

Abstract

Neste trabalho faz-se a análise de vários cenários de incêndio possíveis num edifício do tipo comercial em estrutura metálica, de modo a definir a situação mais desfavorável do ponto de vista da sua resistência ao fogo. Utiliza-se para o efeito um programa de elementos finitos para análise geométrica e fisicamente não-linear, especialmente desenvolvido para o estudo de estruturas sujeitas ao fogo. Como resistência ao fogo da estrutura analisada é inferior á resistência regulamentar, sugerem-se algumas metodologias para solucionar o problema.
