Maneio reprodutivo em explorações de pequenos ruminantes

Abstract

O presente trabalho foi realizado no âmbito do Projecto PRODER Medida 4.2 – Redes Temáticas, intitulado Produção de ovinos e caprinos para o desenvolvimento sustentável do território (PA 49773) - REDOVICAPRA. Nele são apresentados os resultados preliminares dos inquéritos realizados com o intuito de caracterizar o maneio reprodutivo praticado pelos associados da ACOB (Associação Nacional dos Criadores da Raça Churra Galega Bragançana) e da ANCRAS (Associação Nacional de Caprinicultores da raça Serrana) – Serrana e Preta de Montesinho. Espera-se que os resultados encontrados contribuam para a caracterização do maneio reprodutivo praticado por estes criadores, a identificação de constrangimentos e a definição de estratégias que permitam aumentar a produtividade e a rentabilidade das explorações de pequenos ruminantes.
