Abstract

Tratase de un estudio cantitativo que objetivó conocer las características de 105 gestantes atendidas en el Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, Brasil, de enero de 2000 hasta enero de 2001. Los resultados permitieron analisar las condiciones en que ocurrió el parto, las condiciones del bebé y los valores del perfil glicémico durante la gestación. Apresentan, además, informaciones sobre el resultado de las gestaciones de las mujeres diabéticas que realizan su cuidado pre-natal en el hospital. Estos resultados proporcionan informaciones importantes para el equipo de salud que atiende a este grupo de gestantes traendo seguridad para la actuación del equipo y, a consecuencia, para las gestantes.

It is about a quantitative study aimed at knowing the features of 105 pregnant women attended at Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, Brazil, from January 2000 to January 2001. The results allowed the analysis of the delivery as well as baby conditions in addition to the values of the glycemia profile during the gestation. Moreover, they supplied information regarding the completion of the gestations of diabetic women that have made their pre-natal care at the hospital. These results provide significant input for the health team that attend this group of pregnant women and safety for the team performance and, as a result, for the pregnant women.

Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo que objetivou conhecer caraterísticas de 105 gestantes atendidas no Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, Brasil, de janeiro de 2000 a janeiro de 2001. Os resultados permitiram analisar as condições em que ocorreu o parto, as condições do bebê e os valores do perfil glicêmico durante a gestação e apresentam informações sobre o desfecho das gestações das mulheres diabéticas que realizam seu pré-natal no hospital. Estes resultados proporcionam subsídios importantes para a equipe de saúde que atende a esse grupo de gestantes, trazendo segurança para a atuação da equipe e, conseqüentemente, para as gestantes.
