Abstract

O presente artigo tece comentários quanto à problemática do idoso no contexto social vigente e discorre sobre a proposta da disciplina Assistência de Enfermagem ao Adulto I, em favorecer, ao contato com o idoso, o respeito, a compreensão, a auto-estima e socialização.

This article introduces comments covering old age problems in their relation to present day social rules, focusing on the proposition, presented by the subject "Adult Nursing Assistance 1", of favoring, on handling the aged, respect, socialization and understanding.
