Abstract

Apresenta-se algumas possibilidades de valorizar o etnoconhecimento de benzedeiras e rezadeiras. O objeto deste texto são os rituais das inúmeras benzedeiras e rezadeiras. Objetiva-se refletir sobre o etnoconhecimento de benzedeiras no que se refere a suas rezas e seu saber etnobotânico. Este é um estudo bibliográfico. Traz reflexões sobre sua contribuição na sociedade, modos de benzer, conhecimento sobre plantas medicinais e sua adaptação no contexto social atual. Conhecimento este que resiste ao tempo e à tecnologia farmacológica. Conclui-se que elas são pessoas importantes na sociedade, cujos saberes podem ser socializados em escolas e outros meios de comunicação e divulgação eletrônico com o intuito de despertar o interesse de continuidade em crianças e adolescentes e, quiçá, em adultos.

Some possibilities are presented to value the ethno-knowledge of healers. The object is the rituals of blessing and praying fountains. The objective is to reflect on the ethno-knowledge of healers with regard to their prayers and their ethnobotanical knowledge. This is a bibliographic study. It brings reflections on their contribution to society, how to bless, knowledge about medicinal plants and their adaptation in the current social context. Knowledge that resists time and pharmacological technology. It is concluded that they are important, important knowledge can be socialized in schools and other means of communication and electronic dissemination.
