Projeto costurinhas

Abstract

No segundo semestre de 2016, o projeto de extensão Costurinhas teve início no bairro Mário Quintana, localizado na periferia de Porto Alegre, através de uma parceria com a comunidade local, levando a costura de artefatos em feltro a um grupo de 12 crianças com idade entre 7 e 9 anos. O projeto procurou auxiliá-las em vários aspectos, tais como: valorização de atitudes positivas, atenção e concentração, envolvimento com a tarefa iniciada, e elevação da autoestima. O projeto Costurinhas nasceu como um site educacional de apoio à confecção de artefatos em tecido e foi desenvolvido na disciplina Mídia, Tecnologias Digitais e Educação, seguindo as recomendações de Tarouco et alii (2014). O projeto Costurinhas fundamenta-se na teoria da aprendizagem significativa de Ausubel (2003) que tem como ponto central o foco no indivíduo como sujeito protagonista na aprendizagem.
