Abstract

In this article the concept of organizational structure of the knowledge is formalized as a system of cognitive relationships among individuals in conditions of non occasional interaction. The concept is inspired by the Prahalad and Bettis (1986) notions of dominant logic and in the notion of structure of the organizational knowledge of Lyles and Schwenk (1992). An exploratory study is accomplished to evidence that, with the concept, it can be overcome two challenges that appear when the analysis of the knowledge is taken from the individual to the collective level: the organization anthropomorphism and the formalization of the concepts.
