Abstract

This paper aims to reflect on the movement of inscription of a reading place for the text, undertaken by the subject, in his function as author, as an operation of denial – verneiung - of the alterity that constitutes and escapes him, with the author function being, therefore, unsusceptible to be instrumentalised. To discuss this question, we use the concepts of shown heterogeneity and constitutive heterogeneity, as proposed by Authier-Revuz, relating them to the notion of denial – verneinung – in Freud. From this relation, writing emerges as an operation that puts at work the lack that is constitutive of the subject. This work is crossed by a paradoxical movement because, when it seeks to remove this lack, it only reveals it more. Its elaboration discusses an education that is able to provide tools to a subject who, in a domain condition, would use writing to express him/herself. Writing is proposed not solely as a product, but, above all, as producer of a subject’s / author’s place.
