The wheelchair promotes mobility for disabled people. In some cases the seats may harm the user's health by concentrated pressure on specific parts of the body. Expensive tools that are currently imported are necessary in order to evaluate these products. Thus, studies and analysis for the design of a pressure mapping system are presented. The circuits were assembled with easily found components, USB connection and portable software. It is believed that this system may become an important tool for the design, since it allows to assess and certify products with the human body, especially the custom wheelchair seats.
