MODELOS DE EVOLUÇÃO DAS POPULAÇÕES DE Gonipterus scutellatus E Anaphes nitens.

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem como objectivo a compilação e revisão dos resultados até agora obtidos relativos ao desenvolvimento de modelos matemáticos que permitam descrever a interacção entre a espécie Gonipterus scutellatus e o seu parasitóide Anaphes nitens. Estes modelos, para além de permitirem compreender melhor os mecanismos que regulam a dinâmica populacional de ambos os insectos, poderão ainda ser utilizados na previsão da gravidade dos ataques, possibilitando decidir atempadamente sobre a necessidade de intervenção contra a praga.
