Seleção de árvores em desbastes

Abstract

O desbaste depende das características do povoamento, podendo usar-se numa intervenção ou num ciclo de desbastes com um ou vários métodos. O desbaste mecânico é indicado para povoamentos jovens de material selecionado, o pelo baixo para puros regulares jovens, o pelo alto para puros ou mistos regulares adultos, e o misto para puros ou mistos regulares ou irregulares. A intensidade poderá ser forte em povoamentos jovens e moderada/fraca nas fases desenvolvimento posteriores.
