A importância dos nemátodes fitoparasitas na sustentabilidade dos citrinos em Portugal

Abstract

Os nemátodes fitoparasitas (NFP) representam uma ameaça às culturas agrícolas em todo o mundo, causando uma diminuição do seu rendimento e qualidade, bem como um aumento dos custos de produção. Existem, aproximadamente, 4000 espécies de NFP e todas as plantas cultivadas são suscetíveis a pelo menos uma destas espécies. Globalmente são conhecidas quatro espécies de NFP que afetam os citrinos - Tylenchulus semipenetrans, Hemicycliophora arenaria, o Radopholus citrophilus e o Pratylenchus spp.
