Bem-estar humano, bem-estar-animal.

Abstract

The importance of Insets and arthropods at the animalman interface Zoos host all the necessary actors that play a role in transmitting agents, pathogenic or not, zoonotic or not, can happen. We can find wild and domestic animals, all the fauna and flora natural of natural environment surrounding the park, with the possibility of produce artificial biotypes that shapes the cycles of this agents. The characterization of these places enables the adoption of preventive measures. Therefore, the work consisted in the identification of potential vectors of pathogenic agents and possible nidification spots. It was also evaluated the knowledge of the employees regarding possible forms of transmissions of the agents, most adequate measures of prevention as well as the existence of suspected cases of disease in the last years. To determine the existence of capable vectors, this project counted with the collaboration of the network REVIVE of the Public Health and Planning Department of ARS Alentejo and IHMT of Universidade Nova.
