Abstract

Tentou entender-se de que forma a atividade lúdica é potenciadora de desenvolvimento e aprendizagem nas crianças, principalmente no que respeita à área de expressão físico-motora; Report of Supervised Teaching Practice in Preschool Education: Play and motor development in childhood Abstract: This report concerns the stage of Supervised Teaching Practice in Pre-School Education, developed in kindergarten Nossa Senhora da Piedade. The report's main focus is "The game and motor development in childhood" and is the result of a work over two semesters in two valences childhood education (nursery room and garden-room for children). The motor development of children may be conditioned by variables which can be manipulated, for example by strategies adopted by educators and how they plan and execute them. The game and playing of children are resources that increase the development and should be used by educators, enhancing their learning at various levels, not only the motor level. Playing must be part of day-to-day child activity, oriented or spontaneously. This was an attempt to understand how the play activity is enhancer of learning development in children with regard to the area of physical and motor expression.
