Abstract

/*** Abstract - With this work we aim to contribute to the implementation of trekking trails at the Vale do Guadiana Natural Park, respecting the Environment Tourism Strategic of this Protected Area (PA). The trails selection was based on several criteria and describers which were concerned to handle in harmony both the leisure use and the maintenance of this PA values. Whenever possible the local development should also be promoted. Following this methodology eight trails were proposed, for which we conducted an interpretation approach. We hope that this information will be used by Tourism Operators working locally on this business area; as well as by visitors/tourists. In the last chapter, we have studied some details of these trails management. We have also presented measures, which aim at its implementation operational viability, to be led by all parties involved.
