De las dos versiones de "El divino Orfeo" de Calderón a Dionisio Areopagita: reescritura e intertextualidad

Abstract

En este artículo, el autor comienza realizando un resumen comparativo de las dos versiones del auto sacramental “El divino Orfeo” siguiendo los principios teóricos de la intertextualidad y la reescritura, para detenerse en un estilema muy repetido en el género: las palabras de Dionisio Areopagita en el terremoto que se produjo tras la muerte de Cristo. A pesar de que este sintagma es muy breve y ocupa normalmente dos o tres versos, está acompañado por la música y el ruido escénico dando al pasaje cierta relevancia, normalmente al final de la obra antes de desvelarse las grandes apariencias. Calderón no solo utiliza este sintagma en diferentes autos, sino que es capaz de inspirarse en este pequeño episodio para organizar todo un auto sacramental como “A Dios por razón de Estado” cuyo protagonista es precisamente Dionisio del Areópago.
