Turismo: fundamentos conceptuales, realidad y perspectiva

Abstract

This text features a Millán-Puelles tesis that leisure (otium) is the medium to exercise and update the higher possibilities of human existence, and the anthropological conception of man by Alvira by which the man is the one who has a home and travels. The aim of this work is to study tourism, in a multidisciplinary way, as concretization of rest - physical, mental and spiritual or leisure – of the people who travel to places other than home, to be able to design the offer of products and services to help tourists to live well their leisure vacation. The work show how are actually the demand and supply in the tourism sector, presents the trends and analyzes which ones allow the tourist to perfect himself and which ones don’t.
